This notice explains what personal data Dorgan Limited collects through this website, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are.
1. Who we are
Dorgan Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about this notice or your data, contact us:
Email: enquiries@dorganlimited.co.uk
Phone: 07734 033800
Based in: Beckenham, Kent, serving Bromley, Croydon and clients across the UK
2. What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, business name (optional) and your message.
- Email, phone calls and messages: your contact details and anything you tell us when you get in touch directly.
Please don't send us bank, tax or payroll details through the website. If you become a client, we'll arrange a secure way to share those.
We don't collect any special category data (such as health information) through this website, and we don't carry out automated decision making or profiling.
3. Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about how we might help your business. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries that people send us.
If you become a client, the personal data we handle to deliver our services is covered by your engagement letter and the separate client privacy information we give you at that point.
4. Marketing emails
We may occasionally email you about our services, finance tips or business updates.
- If you contacted us using a company email address, we may send you relevant business emails unless you tell us not to.
- If you are a sole trader or partnership, we'll only send you marketing emails if you asked for information about our services and we gave you the chance to opt out, or if you have agreed to receive them.
Every marketing email includes a simple way to unsubscribe. You can also opt out at any time by emailing enquiries@dorganlimited.co.uk. We never sell your details or share them with other companies for their marketing.
5. Who we share it with
We only share your data where we need to:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and stores contact form messages on our behalf.
- Our email and IT providers, who store the emails you send us.
- Professional advisers, such as our insurers or lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities, such as HMRC, where the law requires it.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
6. International transfers
Netlify is based in the United States, so contact form messages may be stored outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on recognised safeguards for UK data transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: if you don't become a client, we delete your contact form message and related emails 12 months after we last heard from you.
- Marketing: if you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a "do not contact" list so we don't email you again.
- Clients: records are kept for the periods set out in your engagement letter and required by law.
Our website host keeps routine technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site, under its own retention policy.
8. Keeping your data safe
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the Dorgan Limited team, and our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- ask us to delete your data
- object to us using your data, including for marketing
- ask us to restrict how we use your data
- ask us to transfer your data to you or someone else
To make a request, email enquiries@dorganlimited.co.uk or call 07734 033800. We'll respond within one month. There's no charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics. See our Cookie Policy.
